This dance was written for the June 28, 2008 Charlotte dance with the help of Susan Turkel who suggested the Petronella twirl.

Reuven has been involved with the performing arts since he was a child. He began playing piano at age eight, folk dancing as a young teenager, and studied French Horn and Orchestral Conducting in college and graduate school.

He has choreographed and performed international folk dance, contra dance, and Appalachian clogging. Reuven is also an experienced composer and arranger of vocal and orchestral music.

Currently, Reuven teaches music privately in Ann Arbor, MI and is assistant conductor with the Ypsilanti Youth Orchestra. He also an active member of the Ann Arbor Community of Traditional Music and Dance (AACTMAD) and serves on committees for the Ann Arbor Dawn Dance and Michigan Dance Heritage (MDH) Fall Camp
